How to add Quizzes to your Course

Adding quizzes to your course provides a comprehensive way for your learners to apply the knowledge they have gained in your course. This article will take you through how you can create quizzes and add different question types for your course. 


To add a quiz to your course:

  1. By default, a Quiz is available in the right panel of every new course.

  2. To add more quizzes, select +Add Content, then select Quiz.


To add quiz instructions and questions:

  1. Give your quiz a Title and provide learners with Instructions for the quiz as shown in the image below:




  1. You can add true/false or multiple-choice questions to your quiz.




  1. To add a true/false question:

    1. Select +True/False.

    2. Type your question in the text box.

    3. Check the circle on the left-hand side to indicate the correct option.

  2. To add a multiple-choice question:

    1. Select +Multiple Choice.

    2. Type your question in the text box.

    3. Type in the four options for learners to choose from. 

    4. Check the circle on the left-hand side to indicate the correct option.


  1. To rearrange, duplicate, or delete your question, hover over your selected question and select the relevant icon:

  • : Move the question up.

  • : Move the question down.

  • : Duplicate the question.

  • : Delete the question.


To add a letter grade to quiz results:

  1. Change your quiz from Ungraded to Graded to add a letter grade to quiz results automatically.




  1. On completing the quiz, learners will receive a letter grade based on the following grading system:

90% - 100%

B

80% - 89%

C

70% - 79%

D

60 - 69%

F

< 60%



Important: Learners will always be able to see how many questions they have gotten correct, as well as the correct options, after they submit their quiz responses.
