How to Report a Violation of our Terms and Policies

By accessing and using ZilLearn's Services, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the General Terms, applicable Service-Specific Terms of Use and ZilLearn’s policies, including the Copyright, Trademark and Intellectual Property Policy, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and this Trust and Safety Policy (collectively, “Terms and Policies”). Unless otherwise specified, capitalized terms used in this Trust and Safety Policy will have the same meaning as they do in the other Terms and Policies.


How to report an abuse

If you come across any Content or User behavior that violates our Terms and Policies, please contact us by raising a ticket here.



Enforcement 

How the strike system works

If a User violates our Trust and Safety Policy, they will receive a warning and resources to help them understand our Terms and Policies better. 

Depending on the violation, additional measures may be taken by our moderation team. For instance, if a Course Creator is found to have provided an inappropriate Course content, the Course will not be viewable by Learners or accessible to them until amendment has been made and reviewed by our moderators.

Subsequent violations of our Trust and Safety Policy will count as strikes. If a User accumulates three (3) strikes within a six (6)-month period, their User Account will be terminated. 

We reserve the right at any time, in our sole and absolute discretion, to escalate cases based on the severity of the violation or the past behavior of the User. For instance, in cases of serious violations such as illegal activities, we may immediately terminate their User Account without issuing any strikes. 

Likewise, even if a User does not incur three (3) strikes within a six (6)-month period, we may terminate their User Account if we observe a new violation as well as a history of doing so. 


Our rights

We reserve the right at any time, in our sole and absolute discretion, to remove any or all Prohibited Content, or take any action to prevent any Prohibited Behavior on the Platform or anywhere on the Services, including but not limited to, terminating, suspending or restricting any User Accounts which are found to be in violation of these Terms and Policies. If you believe that your Content has been wrongly removed, or your User Account has been wrongly terminated, suspended or restricted, please contact us by raising a ticket here.

We recommend all Users to familiarize yourselves with our Trust and Safety Policy. We may amend this Policy from time to time. You acknowledge and agree that continued use of the Services after such amendment will constitute your acceptance of and agreement to be bound by the amended Policy.
