Restricted Course Topics

By accessing and using ZilLearn's Services as a Course Creator, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the General Terms, applicable Service-Specific Terms of Use and ZilLearn’s policies, including the Copyright, Trademark and Intellectual Property Policy, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and this Trust and Safety Policy (collectively, “Terms and Policies”). Unless otherwise specified, capitalized terms used in this Trust and Safety Policy will have the same meaning as they do in the other Terms and Policies.

ZilLearn welcomes Course Creators to share your knowledge on the Platform, be it for the purpose of workforce training or personal development. However, some topics are not permitted on the Platform as they are potentially harmful or offensive to Learners, or they do not cohere with our values. Should you wish to check if your Courses are allowed on the Platform, please contact us by raising a ticket here.

The following topics are not permitted on the Platform:

  • Illegal or unethical activities, such as the use of recreational drugs and black hat hacking.

  • Passive income methods, such as how to invest in bitcoin, property or the stock market.

  • Reselling goods or services, such as through multi-level marketing.

  • Dating or sexuality, especially if they perpetuate unhealthy relationships or gender stereotypes, such as seduction techniques.

    • Exceptions: Topics on marital counseling, consent and building healthy relationships are permitted. Please check with our support team to see if your topics are allowed on the Platform.

  • Using weapons or violence, especially if they glorify or normalize violence, such as animal cruelty, domestic abuse or operating airguns.

    • Exceptions: Topics on self defense are permitted. Please check with our support team to see if your topics are allowed on the Platform.

  • Misinformation and misleading content, such as conspiracy theories and vaccine hesitancy.

  • Sensitive or controversial content, depending on how the content is presented, may be moderated, especially if it uses (intentionally or otherwise) offensive, insensitive, discriminatory or inflammatory language and imagery.

  • Content for minors, as anyone below the age of eighteen (18) are not allowed to access and use any of the Services.

    • Exceptions: Topics designed for parents, guardians or educators to teach the young are permitted. Please check with our support team to see if your topics are allowed on the Platform.

  • Teaching on other platforms, such as how to create courses on other platforms which compete substantially with ZilLearn’s products and services.
