Payment Issues - Troubleshooting

Why is the payout amount I have received less than expected?

If your payout amount reflected in Pending Balance or Next Payout Balance on ZilLearn is less than expected, the following may have occurred:


  1. Your revenue has been subjected to ZilLearn’s 15% revenue sharing

  2. Your revenue has been subjected to the App Store or Play Store’s 30% revenue sharing

  3. Your sales transactions might have been refunded

If your payment has already been credited to Payoneer:

  1. Your revenue may have been subjected to Payoneer’s USD3 processing fees

  2. Your revenue may have been subjected to currency exchange fees

Why is my revenue stuck in Pending Balance?

When a purchase is made on your course, this amount is held in Pending Balance for 45 days before being transferred to Next Payout Balance. The 45-day countdown begins from the date of purchase.


If your revenue has been held in Pending Balance for more than 45 days, please contact us via ZilLearn Support.



Why have I not received the amount in my next Payout Balance?

The following may be why you have not received your Next Payout Balance:


  1. Your Next Payout Balance is less than USD20 and therefore not eligible for payout.

  2. Your Next Payout Balance has only recently exceeded USD20 and will only be paid out on the 1st of the upcoming month.

  3. Your Next Payout Balance has missed the 5 business days cut-off to be eligible for pay out on the  1st of the upcoming month.


If the reasons above are not applicable and your Next Payout Balance has not been credited to Payoneer, please contact us via ZilLearn Support.


If your revenue has been credited to your Payoneer account, and you are facing difficulties withdrawing, you can contact the Payoneer Support Center for assistance.

How will I know if my learners ask for a refund?

If your learner requests a refund, you will not receive a notification. However this will be reflected in All Sales Transactions.


To view your sales transactions:

  1. Select Account Settings

  2. Under My Earnings & Payout, select Earnings

  3. Select All Sales Transactions


What if there is remaining Balance when I delete my ZilLearn account?

If you have remaining balance in your ZilLearn account after deleting it:


Pending Balance

ZilLearn will transfer your Pending Balance to your Next Payout Balance after 45 days. The payout process for Next Payout Balance will occur (refer to next section) and your account will be deleted once this is complete. 


Note: This is only applicable if your remaining balance is above the required USD20 after deduction of applicable fees.


Next Payout Balance

ZilLearn will automatically transfer the Next Payout Balance to your Payoneer account on the first of the following month. Your ZilLearn account will only be deleted after the transfer.
