Supported File Types on ZilLearn

ZilLearn supports several different types of files for your courses, and many types of files for additional resources for your learners to download. This article will take you through all the supported file types and sizes for videos, audio, images and other files.


Supported video file formats:

  • MP4, MPG, AVI, M4V, MOV, WMV, WEBM, MKV.

  • Each file can be up to 2GB in size.


Supported audio file formats:

  • MP3

  • Each file can be up to 2GB in size.


Supported image file formats: 

  • JPG, JPEG, PNG

  • Each file can be up to 100MB per file.


Other supported file formats: 

  • Documents: TXT, DOC, DOCX, DOTX, DOTM, DOT, XPS, WPS, ODT, RTF and PAGES (Apple)

  • HTML, XML, and HTM and EPUB

  • PDF

  • Presentations: KEY, KEYNOTE, PPT, PPTX, OTP, PPTM, POTX, POTM, POT, PPSX, PPSM, PPS and ODP

  • Spreadsheets: XLSX, XLSM, XLSB, XLS, CSV, ODS and OTS

  • Images: JPEG, TIFF, GIF, BMP, and PNG

  • Each file can be up to 50MB in size.
