How to add Open Responses to your Course
Open Responses can be used for a variety of uses, such as to set open-ended writing tasks or gather course feedback. This article will take you through how to add and edit open responses to your course.
To add an open response to your course:
By default, an Open Response is available in the right panel of every new course.
To add more Open Responses, select +Add Content, then select Open Response.
To add open response instructions and files:
Give your open response task a Title and provide learners with Instructions for the task as shown in the image below:
You can also attach files to open response tasks for your learners to download, such as exercise files. To do so:
Upload the desired file via the Attachments tab on the left panel.
Drag and drop the selected file from Attachments to the Drop attachment area.
